“Central Asian Cellular Forum (CACF) is a principal 3G technology forum working as a central hub for the 3G wireless industry stakeholders. Over the years, we have worked with governments, regulators and leading 3G operators across the region. We have assisted these operators with 3G policy regulation and provided them with network planning, deployment and optimization services. CACF has also played an important role in 3G competence development by delivering seminars, training sessions and workshops for industry professionals. Telecom ministries of different countries of the region have sought CACF’s help in resolving 3G policy and regulatory issues while aiding industry watchdogs in formalizing 3G licensing framework and frequency allocation.

In short, the scope of the forum is to work with regional governments, telecom regulators, operators, broadcasters, manufacturers, academia and the general public of the greater Central Asian region, Pakistan and Afghanistan toward 3G technology awareness, promotion and development.
