Tashkent, June 20th - A technology workshop on UMTS/WCDMA was successfully organized by the Central Asian Cellular Forum on June 20th, 2009. The training was conducted by Dr. Syed Ismail Shah, Executive Director, Central Asian Cellular Forum and Qualcomm certified instructor.

The workshop was part of a string of training programs being organized by Central Asian Cellular Forum across the region in order to fulfill the essential HR professional requirements in the field of UMTS/WCDMA.

A total of 19 professionals from renowned organizations like, MTC, Ucell and ITM attended the training. At the end of the event certificates for “UMTS/WCDMA Technical Overview” awarded to the participants. The event was actively support by Qualcomm Inc. USA and CDMA Development Group.
